Naganatheshwara temple at Begur Bangalore

Posted by Thejesh GN On November - 28 - 2008

Its very common for myself and my friend Manju to explore something new on Sunday evenings. I had heard about Naganatheshwara temple at Begur but had not seen it. Since it is very near to my home we though it would be a good place laze around on a sunday evening. Manju’s mom had told us according to legend the temple is of the era of Pandavas and Pandawas used to offer Pooja to Shiva. Me and Manju reached there early on Sunday evening. The temple was still not open but we got some amazing pictures of it from outside.

Collage of all the pictures I took on that day.

jFotoNotes is java implementation of famous FotoNotes in php. A variation of FotoNotes is also used by flickr. Fotonotes is a standard, specification, and collection of scripts for annotating images. In jFotoNotes I have used the same JavaScript libraries but I have completely rewritten the server side components in Java.

Do you know any other post offices which has a different kind of cancellation other than the regular date & place.

Fort of Devanahalli

Posted by Thejesh GN On November - 17 - 2008

Most of you would have read about how far the new Bangalore International Airport is and how boring the journey is. But have you noticed Fort of Devanahalli on the way to Airport? Its visible from the high way if you are watchful enough. I always wanted explore it but never did. But this time on my regular visit to Nandhi Hills I made sure to stop and visit the Fort.

The fort as such is not very big but looks beautiful and still is in good condition. The fort was built by Mallabairegowda in 1501 and then went into the hands of Mysore. Its more famous as the birth place of Tippu Sultan.
