I just had my Nokia 6600 to capture the pictures. Milwaukee Art Museum is an architectural wonder. Its so photogenic and beautiful.

The MAM recently gained international recognition with the construction of the new white concrete Quadracci Pavilion, designed by Santiago Calatrava (his first American commission), which opened on May 4, 2001. The structure contains a moveable, wing-like brise soleil (pictured below) which opens up for a wingspan of 217 feet during the day, folding over the tall, arched structure at night or during inclement weather. The building has since become a symbol for the city of Milwaukee. The galleries themselves are contained in the MAM’s older building, a 1957 Eero Saarinen commission (along with the Milwaukee County War Memorial) added to by Kahler, Slater, and Fitzhugh Scott of Milwaukee in 1975.
Already PP,Chetan and manja were ready to take the next challenge……but we 3 were still in the sleeping mood…..
but we got up and finished our morning work……had breakfast….Noodles and Concrete……..
Later packed our bags….now our bags were not so heavy…..just a thought came into to my mind that how much we eat..
Sharp 6am we left the place for the next destination…..the peak is still 5 km (according to localities) so the it will be 10 + 12 km of trekking for the day…….
But again we lost our way….. we were stuck in a place where there were two ways and we were supposed choose one…
we took one of them…..came back again thinking it as wrong way…..but againg went back in the same path…
oh…we were on the correct path……
Then came a steep hill….it must have been 75 degrees…almost 90….with the weight on the back it was very difficult
to climb that…but after taking almost an hour..we could reach the top of it…..by then everybody were dog tired…
so we decided to hide the bags somewhere and continue…..
