Bangalore Roof Top Film Festival edition-2 is on this saturday sunday at Chung Wah. We are very grateful to Chung Wah for offering their roof top. And I am surprised to see the registrations are full and even the waiting list is full. This edition will have some talks from Indi film makers too. I am hoping to cover them in my own EB Show.

Now BRTFF has its own website ( much like how barcampbangalore has its own). But it is still done by participants. There are no organizers / Maintainers as such. Vatsap and Hari with lot of comments from the community have come with the logo. The logo is self explanatory. Please visit the site to know more about RTFF. And give you comments and suggestions. I created this site in a day. Its a wiki based solution. I hope you will like it. And see you on sunday.

Aamir Khan one of my favourite actor has started blogging. This blog is supposed to be about Lagaan DVD set. But looks like Aamir is so involved in the blog that he has started speaking about everything about himself. His third post titled Refreshing speaks about what he likes about blogging

First of all I want you’ll to know how refreshing it was for me to read all your responses. This is the first time that I am doing something like this and I think I’m enjoying it. Its really great to be able to connect with you’ll directly. First hand, no mediator, no newspaper, magazine, or TV channel.

You’ll should know that I rarely use the net, the computer scares me, and I usually can’t get past the first step in anything electronic. So for me to manage a blog is a big one. Also pardon my net manners. Still learning. Well, let me try and address some of the things that you’ll have brought up.

Well I should say Aamir. Welcome to blog world. I wish you all the best. And to I liked your small post about Bangalore. Keep writing.

30 plus crowd at 8pm waiting for the projector is what I saw as I entered a marvelous house. It took a while to me and Vinay to setup the projector and we were ready by 8:30 to watch movies.

It took a while for me to start the conversation but as some of them were my readers ( EventsBangalore) was easy for me. I knew some of them through the mails and blogs. So it was easy. But I got to know a lot others with similar interests. ( BTW we had a long conversation about travel while driving to the place. I got to know about lot more places in TN .)

It was fun to watch the movies shot using DV cameras. Sudish ( That 4 letter word). Pawan, Rabi Kisku ( of Silicon Jungle fame) and Gowthan (Biruku. Its on Google video ) showed their movies.

Most of these independent movie makers did not about royalty free music. I suggest them to visit creativecommons.org website to know more about CC in general. CCMixter is a better place to get CC licensed music. Soundsnap is good place to get good loops.
