I entered Infosys, almost eight years back on Jan/13/2003 to be exact. I dont have to say I was young, I was also energetic and eager to work. Mysore campus is a great place to begin career, three months later returned to Bangalore. Ever since its been a great roller coaster. I worked at Mysore, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Milwaukee. Never realized how I finished seven years. Learnt a lot in those seven years. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Ever since I entered Infosys back after my sabbatical. I was dreading this day. How will it be? Cliched but true, I am full of unknown emotions that cant be described. I am going to miss it.

Yes, it needs a post. This was my first ever meet with CXO level official at Infosys. Today some of us who took Community Empathy Sabbatical last year met Kris to share our experiences. He was patient, friendly and generally very nice. Some pictures from that meet.

Number of Infoscions taking community Empathy Sabbatical has increased this year, which is a good news. From my side thanks to Infosys it was a great year for me.

This is a small project where I am planning to interview series of people who were Infoscions once. They are usually called Outfoscions inside. This series mostly covers those people who spent their significant time at Infosys and then exited to do something big.

I personally know many but there could be many more, who would have left Infy before I joined Infosys. So I need your help to get in touch with them. Help and expect a great Outfoscion every week starting this monday.

Well, what should I say? Farewell function was long and very senti. It looked like whole of @infy had gathered to catch a glimpse of Nandan. I am cursing myself for not carrying a camera on such a big occasion. Here are some pics from my mobile.

Nandan has been with Infy for almost thirty years. It is not easy for Nandan or Infy, not to miss each other. He is a great executor and brand ambassador. Today 13 Jan 2008 I complete five full years at Infosys. Five years back 13 Jan 2003 I started my career with Infosys at their Mysore campus.

Lot many things have happened to me within these five years. It needs at least ten to fifteen posts to put all my feelings on this blog. I will try to do it sometime later this year. As of now I am just happy and looking forward for some more great years.
