Weekly Notes 08/2025
Work went well I am on top of it. I have closed the things I wanted to close this week and the pending tasks from last week. It feels good to have a completed task list on a Friday evening.

My neck is doing okay. Resting, i.e., not looking at the phone but sleeping, has greatly helped. I’m still wearing the cervical collar, as the doctor advised. I’ve also slowed down on the work front this week because of it. Hopefully, I will be able to catch up next week.
We returned from Langkawi on Wednesday after a week-long vacation. It was a good trip. I had nearly a thousand unread emails, both work and personal when we returned. Around 80% of them are non-critical – newsletters, alerts from GitHub, issue trackers, etc. But I believe in inbox zero, so I had to...
This week was a beautiful mix of celebrations. Yugadhi and Ramzan came together, and right in the middle of it all, Uma turned two! So, we ended up celebrating three festivals with lots of food, fun, chatter, and love.
Adulting is the phase of life where you must do what needs to be done, regardless of your mental or physical state. This week was the week of adulting; even then, I am falling behind a bit. Adulting is hard :)
The pain is still there; during the weekend, it kind of varied in intensity, so I had to stop doing exercises and physiotherapy. I met the doctor again, just in case, but there is no change in his RX. During the week, it’s been okay. I might restart the exercises and physiotherapy this...
