OpenPostBoxIndia

OpenPostBoxIndia is a crowdsourcing project to collect pictures of postboxes and post offices from across India. Make them available under creative commons license for people to use, Add them to OpenStreetMaps, etc. Each image is tagged with additional data like gps, pin, etc. The style used is key:value. It’s YAML Each image also has a title as part of the description. An example description looks like this

Attributes

• title = title of the place or name
• geo = location of the place in lat,lon
• pin = Official IndiaPost pincode
• user = for user attribution
• osm = osm node or way ID
• panoramax = pic id from Panoramax API
• org: url of the original media hosting
• src: url of the source on the media on this site
