Cycling around Hesaraghatta Lake
Woke up 4am on a sunday morning to go for cycling, with the thought it better be good, I have lost hours of sleep for this. After driving for an hour we reached Hesaraghatta which I had known only for two reasons a. Nrithyagram b. my father's training there. Once we reached the place which marked the begining of our off-road cycling, I was happy. It was green, muddy and beautiful.
We didnt actually have any particular track in mind. We rode as we liked and ended up at Hesaraghatta Lake. We rode on the lake bund until we reached the end.
We rode back in a different route through the greens.
We reached again that green grass land. It was green and plain land all around. So the next program was photo shoot
Of course customary picture of me with my bicycle

Reached home by 2pm. It was a great riding.

how did you carry your cycle?? you got a bicycle rack??
So you drove up in a car carrying your cycle to Hesarghatta to ride there ? That sounds a bit un-green thing to do with a cycle:)
@Prashanth M : No. Wagonr can accomodate 2-3 cycles.
@Jayadeep Purushothaman : Yes, I know :( but we did pooling so not that bad.
I’ve done this track as a high-school kid Thejesh.. We would cycle from Yelahanka to Hesaraghatta and back.. Your pics took me back there :)
Wish I can cycle here too..

Hey,
I’m a fellow cyclist from Bangalore :) I’ve been planning to ride to Hesaraghatta lake for a while now but had heard stuff like the lake has dried up etc. But the pics you’ve put up look great! I guess I’ll go there for sure now!
