Feb 2021 – Reading Status

The last year 2020, was terrible in terms of reading. I heard a lot of podcasts but didn't read much. This year's goal is to read 25 Kannada books minimum; any books I read in English are special. ಗಿರಿಜಾ ಪರಸಂಗ - Biography of Girija Lokesh written by Jogi. An amazing and inspiring read.

ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕರು - Write also made a documentary on Tejasvi. This book takes you through that process. Covers the interviews and meetings etc. It's a great read.

ಶೂದ್ರ ತಪಸ್ವಿ - A drama by Kuvempu based on an incident in Ramayana. Anti caste. Kuvempu is that rebel; we have not read much. Like once Tejasvi said, read Kuvempu a lot.

ಬೆಳಗಾಗಿ ನಾನೆದ್ದು - ಎಚ್ ಎಸ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶಮೂರ್ತಿ - Its essays by HN about the stalwarts Indian Kannada writers. It's a must-read. Beautifully designed book as well.

ಎನ್‌ಕೌಂಟರ್ | ಕುಂವೀ - Fictionalized biography of a criminal. It's a fast read.
