Day 10: Cruise to Jeju
We woke up early. Even though our ferry was at 0900, we wanted to reach the terminal by 0730. So we left the hotel by 0700. Our hotel was very near to the terminal and we took taxi. Ferry terminal looks like a bus station otherwise.

We had booked the tickets through telephone by giving all our details. Jeju is a Special Self-Governing Province in Korea. If you are travelling to Jeju, you just need an ID (in our case passport). We had booked a private shared room. A room for two that is. It costs 60,000 Won/person. In retrospect we could have booked a dormitory like room (shared by 4, with beds) or more generic room (no bed, floor seating), it would have costed us less.

Once we got onto the ferry. We put our bags in our room. Went to the deck to see the departure.

After about four hours we reached Jeju. I came out just in time to catch this view.

That's our cruise. It was my first experience on such a big cruise/ferry. Most of the times I didn't feel anything. Once in a while you feel the whole thing shaking. That is all. All in all it was a great experience. BTW they have cafe/restaurant inside. So nothing to worry.

Very Interesting Article and Thanks for the info about Cruise
