AWA 7: Back in Bangalore

We had no particular plans for the last day. It was reserved for shopping, rest and, packing, etc.

Appa and I walked quite a bit of downtown Siem Reap the previous night. It was lit up, and all the pubs were open for patrons. Siem Reap is yet to get as many tourists as it used to get before COVID. So the pubs weren't crowded, which was good for us.

The next day, we woke up and had breakfast at Lotus Dosa. Appa thanked them for the excellent food. Then we went to the Made in Cambodia shopping place to buy some toys for Uma. I had marked a shop for it. It's a handmade(knitted from yarn) dolls shop. I loved so many things there; I bought a couple for Uma.

We reached the airport early. Even though the airport is quite far (it takes an hour), the roads were pretty empty. The check-in and security check took ten minutes as the airport was also quite empty.

We spent much time talking, taking pictures, and drinking coffee. I used the rest of the time to map the entire terminal onto the OpenStreetMap.

We took that mandatory selfie.

The flight to Bangkok was on time and reached on time. The flight from Bangkok to Bangalore got delayed a bit, but by the time we came home, It was past midnight (i.e., today). I slept most of the first half today.

We saw everything we had planned to see, and the weather was nice; folks loved their Indian food options in Siem Reap. Overall, it was a great trip.
