I watched so many (probably hundreds?) movies with my parents as a child and a teenager. We mostly saw them in theaters; in fact, there was no other option. There were 100+ high-quality applications this year, making going through and selecting hard and time-consuming. I am happy about them. Thanks to friends for pitching. Gangadhar(25K), Shweta/Ashwini(50K), Divya(50K), Nemo(50K), Kamala Manoharan (100K), Y(30K), S(10K), and T(10K) pitching in to make the total amount 4.25L. This is also the first year a former grantee has become a grantor (Not in their name), making it truly special.

There are a few changes to NMG this year onward. It’s not a big deal, but I wanted to note them here for future reference. TLDR: NMG Core will be ₹ 1 lakh + friends as usual, and NMG Edu will be a separate ₹ 1 lakh.
