I am an IBM Champion – 2018

So I am IBM Champion for cloud – 2018. It happened earlier this year, but I was waiting for the official announcement before blogging about it. IBM Champion is a non IBMer who demonstrate both expertise in and extraordinary support and advocacy for IBM technology, communities, and solutions.

I am interested in Free and Open Source software at IBM and some of their implementation in the cloud. Products like Cloudant (CouchDB), IBM Functions (OpenWhisk), StrongLoop, SystemML have been focus of some of my writings last year. I will continue to cover more Open Source and their implementations in 2018.

The IBM Champion program recognizes these innovative thought leaders in the technical community and rewards these contributions by amplifying their voice and increasing their sphere of influence. IBM Champions are enthusiasts and advocates: IT professionals, business leaders, developers, executives, educators, and influencers who support and mentor others to help them get the most out of IBM software, solutions, and services.

It’s a great honour to be part of champions community. I would like to thank everyone who nominated me, Cloud team and IBM Champion program team.
