Weekly Notes 42/2024
It was meet people for coffee week. I met Peppo colleagues at a wedding. We all work remotely, so we rarely meet unless there is a reason. I also met Mridu, Prabhudh, and Vaishnavi for coffee at Kara. Both times, Uma was with me. She does seem to enjoy meeting people and is very comfortable in public spaces. It's a good thing for me.
- 🎂 It was also my birthday weekend. Thanks to everyone who wished me. I had a good weekend. Anju baked a cheesecake for me. She also cooked my favorite meal, ragi mudde with mutton saaru.
- 🐶 We had to do an emergency vet visit this week. Echo has UTI and other kidney-related issues. We did a bunch of blood work and scanning. He's 12+ and is starting to experience some aging-related issues.
- 🦷Dental work is in progress. According to my guess, it will be complete by December.
- 💻 I have not been able to write as much as I wanted to. Maybe this weekend if Echo gets better. Got most of the work done. So that is good. I might be in Mumbai for a day next week.
- 👨🍼 Baby Radio is a hit. Now, I'm searching for more audio content, especially in Kannada and Malayalam. Send recommendations, please. Uma has started scribbling random things with crayons, so we're doing that. She also enjoys building things with blocks. Mornings are busy now.
- 🌐 Zomato delivered someone else's food to me. I couldn't get the recipient's details to return; I messaged them on Twitter and waited for them to pick it up, but they didn't. And we couldn't let the food go to waste :)
