Weekly Notes 44/2024

This week was yet another week of meeting many friends. We met one set of friends on Saturday for a lovely breakfast. I met Peppo folks on Wednesday for lunch. I also met another set of friends to celebrate Deepavali on Thursday. We also caught up with cousins for coffee at Maverick & Farmer Coffee during the week. As I said, it was a week of meeting many friends. I loved it.

  • We also did a school visit on Saturday. We are looking for a play school where Uma can spend a couple of hours in the day playing with other toddlers. She loves meeting other toddlers.
  • Sandeep was here on Saturday night for dinner at now reopened Dolphins Bar and Restaurant. We loved the food, especially the Chicken Ghee Roast. The crowd and food reminded me of Windsor Pub at Vasanth Nagar. Oh, how much I miss the simple, less noisy, and casual pubs of Bengaluru.
  • On Sunday, Sandeeps (yes. plural) and I made a short TVC visit to check on the construction. Construction has reached the roof level. Hopefully, roofing will start soon. I can't wait to spend time there. On our way to TVC, we stopped at Kote Idli Mane, Kanakapura. They have simple but yum breakfast.
  • I wrote a review of C30 motorcycle intercom. It's one thing that has changed my riding experience a lot for the better.
  • Echo is still recovering. He is better but still far from being fully fit—hopefully, this week.
  • I watched Meiyazhagan and The Remarkable Life of Ibelin (Netflix Documentary). I liked both of them. They have some commonality: love for other folks in one's life.
  • Happy Deepavali and Kannada Rajyotsava to all of you. Have fun. In other news, we are eleven and entering our twelfth year today. To celebrate, we went to Azukii Bistro! for lunch. They have good sushi. I couldn't try Ramen, but maybe next time.
