Weekly Notes 17/2025

The pain is still there; during the weekend, it kind of varied in intensity, so I had to stop doing exercises and physiotherapy. I met the doctor again, just in case, but there is no change in his RX. During the week, it’s been okay. I might restart the exercises and physiotherapy this coming week. My productivity was less than 50%; I could hardly work. I am very thankful to the teams I am part of; they could get things done as long as I cleared the path. I am lucky to have such self-motivated, dedicated, and understanding teams. Hopefully, I can do better in the coming week.

It’s school holidays, so almost every kid is at the park.
  • I discovered weekly-noters Jenn, Steven, and Jedda. I also love the artwork by Jenn. I always liked simple line/sketch drawings of humans, things, buildings, etc. Hopefully, one day, I get to pursue it. I am not even a beginner at this point :)
  • Sometimes, I mention bloggers here and forget to add them to the blogring. For example, JoShenoy was mentioned in WN 03/2025, but I forgot to add them to blogging. This week, I checked and made sure I added all of them. Ping me If you think I missed anyone. Blogring has my favorite 92 bloggers now and more than half of them (48) are also weekly-noters.
  • A student called me for advice this week. I told them to get a degree. No matter what people say about formal education, it matters. I am a first-gen graduate. I have seen how much of a difference it makes. A degree in something you care about adds value to you, your family, and the people around you.

Note: For half a second, this post’s title was Weekly Notes 17/2024, because my mind still thinks we are in 2024. I have fixed it. Unfortunately, I can’t fix all the emails in readers’ inboxes.
