30 Days of Watercoloring
I did a bit of drawing and painting when I was in school. I loved it, but kind of lost it when I reached college. I never got to learn it, though I always wanted to. Recently, when Uma started playing with colors, I thought about to learning watercoloring just for fun.
This week, I started learning by doing it. Of course with the help of YT. I searched the cupboards and had all the materials. The idea was to do one mini (postcard-sized or small) painting every day for 30 days. That would either make me stick to it or leave the idea completely. Hence #30DaysOfWatercoloring.

I am not spending more than 30 minutes a day to do this. I didn’t publish for initial few days to see if it became a habit, and I also thought they weren’t great. I still think they aren’t great, but who cares? The idea is not to become a great painter but learn enough to have fun and appreciate the art.
Below are some of my initial creations. There is a project page where I have all the mini paintings and other details.
