I am at IITM/Chennai for Paradox. I have been here since 2022, since the first Paradox. The fest and the crowd have grown bigger. I came by car with friends A&S. We took Old Madras Road and stopped at Sriperumbudur for a quick visit to the Rajiv Gandhi memorial.
I was in Chennai for the first half of the week. I couldn’t get a confirmed 1st or 2nd class train ticket. So I had to fly from Kochi. It’s such a waste of time and money. Chennai is hot, hotter than Thrissur. But I mostly worked from Indoors, so it was okay....
My visit to IITM/Chennai was enjoyable; I met many students and spent time with some of them. In general, it was great to catch up with all of them. This is the fifth year of the program. Many graduated this year with three-year and four-year degrees. It’s amazing to see this happening at...
So, I’m going to attempt to write a blog post, actually by dictating it using IdeaShell. It’s my dream to write a whole blog post using voice. It’s not done using any Text-generating LLMs, but this is done using Speech to Text (STT). Just to try it out. I’m doing this while I’m taking a stroll at Madras, an evening stroll. It’s a good way to test it because I just wanted to test it in different environments. How does it perform?
