Data from Bengaluru – Where Do You Work From?
It was a simple survey of one question. Where do people in Bengaluru choose to or prefer or allowed to work from? Here are the answers as of now.
I also know that it has limitations.
- One question doesn’t cover all scenarios. For example, some people work from home for a week and then from the office the next, while others change their days every week.
- Biased sample, not random. I think the majority of the survey submitters are from IT, given the fact that it was shared among my friends, colleagues, etc.
- It’s more of a simple poll than a survey.
- Something that I have not realized or don’t know. Email me.
Even with all these limitations, I think it’s still useful. You can download the CSV data as of Sept 05, 2025. It’s available under Open Database License. You can link to project page if you like to credit. I will keep updating as I get more data. The plan is to run it until I gather 1000+ samples or until the year-end.
