We are back in Bangalore. This drive took a bit longer. We took two 45-minute breaks each for baby and pet-related work. Otherwise, it was a comfortable drive. We left at 3:20 AM and reached by about 1:30 PM. It makes a lot of difference if you start early. It’s primarily long-distance truck traffic early in the morning, and they are much more professional Than others on the road. So it’s much easier to drive alongside them.
The year 2023 was life-changing in a good way. We have Uma in our life, and though we were expecting it to happen, it was much more sudden and was a pleasant surprise. As of now, the year 2024 seems like a continuation of 2023. But before we enter 2024, here are the highlights of 2023.
ನನಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು ೧೦ ವರ್ಷವಾದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನೆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದಳು. ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಮನೆ ಅಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮನೆ ಕೆಲಸ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗು ಅಮ್ಮ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದ ಜೊತೆ ಮನೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅಪ್ಪ ಕೆಲಸದ ಜೊತೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದರು. ನಮಗೆ ೧೦ ವರ್ಷವಾದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಮ್ಮ ನಮಗೆ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕೆಲಸ, ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿನ ಕೆಲಸ ಅಂತ ಭೇದ ಭಾವ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಾತ್ರೆ...
Day 8th was probably the longest drive in this trip. Roughly around 600 Kms. But the roads were great so we didn’t feel much. We left Lucknow quite late by 9am. We had half tank fuel, so I didn’t think much. Ecosport gives at least around 350 Kms for that much fuel. Only...
Varanasi to Lucknow is not very far. Its about 300KMs. But road isn’t great. It took us more than 7 hours to cover. But its all worth it. Lucknow is a beauty or at least the area we saw. Traffic is so much better than Allahabad or Varanasi. We reached around 2pm, so...
