Character: Red 🏍

Nicknamed Red, my 2004 Yamaha Fazer 125 has been with me since 2004. I’ve ridden this modest 123.7 CC motorcycle across India before parking it in 2011. After 14 years of rest, I restored it in 2024 and now it’s back on the road, riding like a champ once again.

It’s a 123.7 cc, single-cylinder, two-valve petrol engine that produces 10.9 PS at 7,500 rpm. It’s kick-start only, with drum brakes on both wheels. The bike weighs 124 kg, has a 790 mm seat height, and a 13-litre fuel tank.

Weekly Notes 40/2024

I reached Valparai yesterday with Manju. This ride is probably going to be the last ride for the year. Not bad for the year I restarted, isn’t it? I will write about the ride in detail once I reach Bangalore. For now, I can only say Valparai is as beautiful as it was...
