Weekly Notes 04/2024

I was on a single-day motorcycling trip today. The last time I went on a motorcycle ride was a decade back . I was nervous and also excited. We went to Lepakshi and Penukonda. The whole ride was around 300 KMs. The ride was good. This ride was in preparation for a three-day ride...

Weekly Notes 03/2024

We are back in Bangalore. This drive took a bit longer. We took two 45-minute breaks each for baby and pet-related work. Otherwise, it was a comfortable drive. We left at 3:20 AM and reached by about 1:30 PM. It makes a lot of difference if you start early. It’s primarily long-distance truck traffic early in the morning, and they are much more professional Than others on the road. So it’s much easier to drive alongside them.

Near Erode, we took a break. 0

Weekly Notes 51/2023

We pushed all the year-end deployments before we hit the holiday season. I am very proud of the Peppo team and their work. It’s been a good year.

Where does our ability to smile go when we grow up? 2

Smile

On most days, Uma wakes up before me at around 6:15 AM. Her usual thing is to play by herself, making loud baby sounds. When I wake up, the first thing I see is her, smiling directly at me with wide eyes.

She never stops until she learns a new skill—she is such an inspiration to adults. 0

Weekly Notes 50/2023

We met a bunch of friends this week. We spent unreasonable amount of time with them, talking, eating, and making coffee. I am so happy to have such beautiful and caring friends. When I turn 70 and look back, I will be very proud of the friends that I have earned, especially the ones I made after turning 30.

Weekly Notes 49/2023

Since it’s the last few weeks of the year, I have started working on the reflection on the year to write my year-end coverage post series called The Year That Was. This year, I am also thinking about what my focus should be in 2024. I have not done that before, at least consciously, except for sharing New Year’s Resolutions in haste, which has rarely worked.
