GPS Logging using GPSLogger and CouchDB
One of the valuable features of Google maps app is GPS logging. It keeps track of where you have been so you can take action if required later. I wanted an open-source, self-hosted version of that.

This is my 1000th blog post. 2023 is also going to be the 20th year of my blogging. I will write a 20th-year blog post later, but I am surprised the average number of posts per year is 50. Except for 2007, other years have been relatively consistent. And in the last few years, it has been more than average.
I have been thinking about running SDR on Android for some time. So I did this week. The setup is useful for “showing” radio waves to kids and adults. It also makes sense to see it when you want to debug wifi channel or other radio issues at home.
I have been a professional engineer for 20 years now. I started in Jan/2003 as a Software Engineer for Infosys and Mysore. It was my first paid job. Ideally, I should have written about it in Weekly Notes 02/2023; I somehow missed it. Anyway, It’s been an exciting 20 years, and I hope I have another 20 years in me. I want to cover aspects of it separately throughout this year.
