I have been using apps to track my baby’s progress. I mostly use self-hostable web apps that I can host on my home server or Android apps that work offline. All of which are FOSS. Except for the Milestone tracking apps :( They are not FOSS, but they are taxpayer-funded and freely available.
When Uma came home, one of the most frequently asked questions was, who would bathe her? I wasn’t sure what the answer folk were expecting. But in the general answer was Thej. This year, 2024, will be the seventh year of the grant. I am pleased that I was able to sustain it. I am grateful to friends (Nemo, Gangadhar, Shweta) and other anonymous folks who have joined me on this journey with additional grant support. I am also thankful to all the applicants and grantees who have been part of this journey in one way or another. It’s one of those things I do every year that makes me very happy.
