This time I was sure my move to Fediverse would be much more permanent. So instead of using site instances owned by someone else, I wanted to host it myself. So I started looking for appropriate software. Finally, I chose microblog.pub.
Sanchaya had organized an event around the release of Karnata F Kittel Font. I got to attend it. Some of his grand-grand kids were at the event. The amount of love I saw for Kittel amazed me. Kittel has a special place in every Kannadigas heart and mind.
One of the things that I would like to do every day is to read a Vachana. It does appear to me on my desktop daily, but even then, I miss it when I don’t access that specific computer or am busy. So a push message would be great.
It looks like I have injured myself. It seems like an RSI. Nothing to worry about; I met the doctor, who advised me of the remedies. The good thing is we found out early; it’s minor and complete recovery is possible.
It’s Kannada Rajyotsava week. I have been unable to work on Nithya Kannada for a long time. I hope to contribute in other ways; how about a bot that sends a Kannada word daily? It could be helpful to even Kannada native speakers. Let me know.
I have been looking for embeddable, playable HTML/CSS/JS snippets for some time. Services like JSBin, CodePen, CodeSandbox, etc., do allow that. But I was looking for a self-hosted version as my requirement was just the ability to use HTML/CSS/JS, which are native to the browser and can run offline without any backend services.
