Weekly Notes 14/2025
This week was a beautiful mix of celebrations. Yugadhi and Ramzan came together, and right in the middle of it all, Uma turned two! So, we ended up celebrating three festivals with lots of food, fun, chatter, and love.

We returned from Langkawi on Wednesday after a week-long vacation. It was a good trip. I had nearly a thousand unread emails, both work and personal when we returned. The first half of the week was busy, with most of the time, including some weekend hours, spent closing work TODOs. But now that we’re in Langkawi, it’s all good :)
Appa was down with a fever and an upset stomach for a couple of days. He recovered pretty fast. Now that Uma can make sentences of two or three words from different languages, their conversation is fun to hear. She probably has a combined vocabulary of 100 words in Malayalam, Kannada, and English....
My neck is doing okay. Resting, i.e., not looking at the phone but sleeping, has greatly helped. I’m still wearing the cervical collar, as the doctor advised. I’ve also slowed down on the work front this week because of it. Hopefully, I will be able to catch up next week.
